Yeah, I guess it is ...... but most of us have migrated from this board to the WriMo board, I suppose, because it's been way too quiet around here lately.
I'm not ready either - I finished last year and all, but I barely have anything, not even an outline! Eek! Is this your first year? If so, good luck ...... well, and even if it isn't, good luck anyway. What am I thinking ... ?
Anyway, back to my outline........

Hello again . . .
I guess this place will remain empty and silent untill . . .
da da da dum . . . December 1st
As for me . . . this will be my second time at NaNoWriMo
I am one of the many 2002 winners
I just wanted to talk to someone . . . interested . . . not everyone interested in writing . . .
I mean that other board is so crowded with strangers . . . not as intamint as this place . . . he hee
PS I mispell on purpose sometimes . . . do y'all ever do that?

I don't misspell on purpose, but I do do it frequently.
And I agree about the more intimate nature of these boards, which is definitely one of the strengths, plus it makes it kind of fun to see a familiar name pop out in the more busy wrimo forums.
Alas, I've been seduced by the crowds, flash, and glamour of the wrimo for this month. But, I've already got a few ideas for my wriye novels.

Hellooooooooo? Boy is this place empty!
But then, I haven't been here in, oh, two months, maybe more!
I only remembered yesterday that I needed to sign up for nanowrimo. This will be the first year for me and since I've become unemployed as of Sept 26th, I should have plenty of time for it!
Of course I still have to deal with my two children and my husband, but thank goodness their in school and at work during the day. So maybe, just maybe, I'll get to complete it!
Wish me luck!
Oh and I've already seen Sushi and Izzy over on the wrimo boards. So come on over.
